Join the Penn State Master Gardeners of Lancaster as they host nationally known speakers Kirk Brown and Jessica Walliser for the 28th Annual Shirley R. Wagner Garden Symposium. The program will be a virtual webinar event on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
This four-lecture program has something for both new and experienced gardeners. Growers of flowers, vegetables, and fruit will appreciate the tips for reducing maintenance and watering chores. Attendees will explore how to simplify their outdoor lifestyles and maximize garden design impact while minimizing their budgets. In addition, gardeners will discover design solutions for hard-to-treat areas.
Jessica Walliser’s six-step pest control program using both Integrated Pest Management and natural- care gardening techniques is a great way to combat gardening challenges this summer. Finally, gardeners will learn how to create a container garden to grow beautiful flowers, vegetables, and fruits.
