Celebrate Arbor Day with the Conservancy at the Falmouth Forest Garden by planting and caring for trees!
The Falmouth Forest Garden at Conoy Wetlands Nature Preserve is an example of how the needs of people and wildlife can be met in the same landscape with its perennial, crop producing native tree and shrub species. You can be part of this unique project along the Northwest River Trail by assisting with additional restoration work, planting trees and removing invasive plants as part of our ongoing efforts to restore bat, bird, and insect habitat.
Where to meet: Falmouth Boat Launch. The Forest Garden is a short walk on a paved trail from the Falmouth boat ramp parking area.
What to expect: Participants should expect to get dirty. Close toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves are recommended. No experience is necessary. All ages are welcome.
What to bring: All tools will be provided. Bring drinking water and dress for the weather.
