On Saturday, October 8, join LancasterHistory and Allegro Orchestra Lancaster for a special evening event and fundraiser to support and celebrate Allegro’s mission of expanding the appreciation and love for classical music across multiple generations in Lancaster County and LancasterHistory’s mission to engage and educate the public about the people, places, and events that shaped Lancaster County.
At Autumn Accents, guests will enjoy live music performed by four, small ensembles in unique locations throughout LancasterHistory’s grounds. From inside the museum, surrounded by historic artifacts, to outside the home of 15th US President James Buchanan, guests can relish the ambiance and interweaving of music and history. Throughout the evening, guests will be guided to each quartet to experience their private mini-concert comprised of brass, wind, and string instruments. Plus, there will be appetizers, desserts, wine, and cocktails, a perfect gastronomical accompaniment to the evening.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 8 from 5 – 7pm at LancasterHistory. Tickets may be purchased online through Allegro Orchestra Lancaster. Each ticket purchase ($100/per ticket plus a $5 service fee) includes admission to the event, appetizers, drinks, and other delicious small bites, and helps support Allegro Orchestra Lancaster and LancasterHistory. All proceeds benefit Allegro Orchestra Lancaster and LancasterHistory. Advance tickets are highly encouraged as capacity is limited.
