The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Lancaster County presents Bark For Life, taking place at New Life Fellowship Church, 420 E. Fulton St., Ephrata, PA. The event will also feature a Benefit Live Auction. Bark For Life will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the live auction starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Blue Ridge Communications and WIOV-FM are the presenting sponsors for this event.
Relay For Life of Lancaster County is proud to bring Bark For Life to New Fellowship Church for the first time this year. Bark For Life will feature a Strut Your Mutt Parade, doggie games, contests, giveaways, demos by a local Search & Rescue team, as well as a Police Canine unit from East Hempfield. Speranza Animal Rescue, Leo’s Helping Paws, and other vendors will also be on site. Food will be available for purchase from various food vendors, as well as the church. We are also asking those who attend to bring blankets, treats, toys, food, cleaning supplies, etc., for the rescues, as they are always in need.
The Benefit Auction will start at 1 p.m. under the tent. Various items have been donated. Theme gift baskets, gift cards from local stores and restaurants, tickets to local attractions, and merchandise from local businesses have been donated.
