The North Museum and Millport Conservancy have joined together to bring Fall Fest back this year after its one-year hiatus. Fall Fest will occur on November 6th from 10am to 2pm at Millport Conservancy in Lititz. The event will feature autumnal activities for the whole family! From a Mini (reptile) Petting Zoo to the Pumpkin Race, guests will have plenty of activities to engage with science, nature, and each other. The surrounding nature will inspire visitors to visit the Face Painting Booth for a nature or animal themed face painting. The Archeological Dig Pit will provide an opportunity to learn archeological techniques and find special treasures like rocks and fossils. As the younger guests take a run through the Spider Obstacle Course, older guests will be able to enjoy the tastes of Lancaster County in the Tasting Room where samples from local breweries and distributors will be offered. Food will also be available for purchase at the event.
A highlight of the event will be live music by Steven Courtney, an award-winning performing-songwriter. He will be performing two shows with songs that inspire imagination and positive social behavior. The shows will be at 11am and 12:30pm! Now is the perfect time to celebrate autumn as cooler weather and colorful trees surround us, so come and join us for Fall family fun!
Tickets for this event are $15.00 for adults, $10 for children, and free for kids under three. Tickets can be purchased at www.northmuseum.org/fall-fest. The event will happen rain or shine! This collaborative fundraiser between the North Museum and Millport Conservancy will benefit both non-profits, and will support STEM programming at the North Museum and conservation efforts at Millport Conservancy.
