International Postcard Art Invitational Exhibit 2023

Create Columbia announces their Third Invitational Postcard Art Exhibit! Submissions are due by Aug. 24, 2023; Exhibition period is Sat., Aug. 26th through Sat., Sept. 2nd, with a closing reception and winning bids announced on Sat., Sept. 2nd from 2-4 pm. Museum hours are Tues.-Sat.: 10 am – 5 pm; Fri.: 10 am – 4 pm; Sun. & Mon.: Closed. Artists from around the world are invited to submit original art in the form of a postcard! The rules are simple: a postcard-sized art work (or 2) using any medium that can be mailed through the US Postal Services, but not placed in an envelope. A painting, collage, illustration, photograph, or mixed media. If it is in the form and general size of a postcard it will be displayed. This year, we’ve suggested a theme: ‘It’s About Time.’  Since visitors may wish to see more of your work, we suggest artists add their website address. Mail to: CC Postcard Art 2023, PO Box 328, Columbia, PA 17512. All displayed entries will be available to be bid upon via a silent auction throughout the exhibition period. Income derived from the winning bids will go toward operating costs of Create Columbia, a 501(c)3 organization. No postcard art will be returned and may be included in future fundraising efforts by Create Columbia. As in the past, we have received original postcards from around the world!
