We are excited to bring you this unique experience, as we explore the intersection of science and art through the world of insects! We will go on an interpretive hike to learn about the spring insects at Climbers Run, interact with insect ambassadors at the Center, and have the chance to meet the cast and characters of LOVEBUG and see excerpts from the show.
Attendees will join an ensemble of professional dancers as they creep, crawl, weave, fly, spin, sting, and hatch a captivating cast of creatures to life! Written and directed by Lauren Tait, LOVEBUG transports viewers into the intriguing world of bugs conveyed through dance. Intricate movement, elaborate costumes and playful poetry combine to create an evocative and visually compelling experience, all with the aim to spark wonder and discovery in kids-at-heart of all ages.
Performances from LOVEBUG, an interpretive hike that explores insects at Climbers Run and interacting with our insect ambassadors will make a perfect night of dance, discovery and exploration!
