Join Adam Zurn at the Milan-Schock Public Library in Mount Joy for an exciting double-header event on Monday, April 18, 2022. At 6 pm, he will be recounting his expeditions down the lower Susquehanna to explore the mysterious Native American petroglyphs hidden on the ancient river at Safe Harbor. These 1,000 years old rock carvings represent the oldest man-made artifacts in Lancaster County and one of the most significant archeological sites in the northeastern United States. He will discuss their significance, possible meanings, and share some local legends surrounding the pictographs.
Also, they will kick off the Book of Secrets Adventure!
This brand new Uncharted Lancaster adventure will have you exploring Mount Joy, Marietta, and Maytown as you attempt to unlock the hidden resting place of the Book of Secrets hidden at the Milanof-Schock Library. Fantastic prizes are up for grabs for early completers! Details on how to play coming in April 2022.
This adventure is free and available to the public during the library’s business hours.
