It’s hard to imagine spending the entire winter exposed to the elements, but the indigenous inhabitants of this area did just that for thousands of years. Listen and learn with Naturalist Carter Johnson as he presents how tribes in what is now Central Pennsylvania not only survived the winter but thrived. The Native American diet, home life, and more will all be covered during this program. A traditional snack will be provided to bring flavor to the history! Participants will need to sign a liability waiver at the program. Register online or call (717) 295- 2055 to register and prepay by noon on Wednesday, February 16. $4.00 per person.
