River Towns Plein Air is a major community event attracting 60 talented artists and hundreds of motivated collectors from the eastern US to historic Marietta, PA. The event spotlights original artwork completed on location over an 8-day period in the historic Susquehanna River communities of Marietta, Columbia and Wrightsville, PA. Sixty participating artists compete for $5,000 in cash awards during the culminating juried exhibition and sale held at the Marietta Community House / Studio 264.
Quick Draw | April 15
Artists of all ages can join the fun in Columbia on April 15 for the QUICK DRAW event. Participants have two hours to paint or draw from observation in a designated area in Columbia.
Finished works of art will be on display, juried for cash awards and available for sale. Registration fee is $10 payable in advance or on the day of the event. Quick Draw Juror is Matt Allyn Chapman, co-owner of Curio Lancaster.
