Special Author Event: Kristin Hannah Book Tour - The Women

Kristin Hannah, bestselling author of 24 novels will make a special appearance in Lancaster County on as part of her Book Tour announcing the debut of her latest novel, The Women! The Council of Friends of Public Libraries and Midtown Scholar Books will host the event, which is a fundraiser for all of the public libraries in Lancaster County. The event is one of the stops on Hannah’s book tour celebrating the release of her latest novel, The Women. The Women is the story of a turbulent era in America: the 1960s and the women who volunteered as nurses during the Vietnam war. It is an intimate portrait of a woman coming of age in a dangerous time and an epic tale of a nation divided by war and of a generation both fueled by dreams and lost on the battlefield.
