Join us at the Historic Manheim Railroad Station for the finale of our Celebrating Our Botanical Heritage series. Linda Ferich of the Lancaster Conservancy’s Community Wildlife Habitat Program will speak about the program at 2:00 pm. Hungry Hook Native Plant Farm will sell native plants. Lancaster author, Lisa Doseff will sell and sign her children’s book “Grandma Lisa’s Humming, Buzzing, Chirping Garden” about gardening for pollinators. While you are at the Station, take a tour, enjoy the Henry William Stiegel exhibit of eighteenth century glass, iron and indentures, see the model railroad and take a trolley ride! And, don’t miss the demonstrations by talented craftsmen at the Fasig Log House, 30 E. High St. The Woolwrights will demonstrate the traditional art of rug hooking and sell their items. Marcia Myer has been making brooms for fifty years and will share her craft. Brooms will be for sale. Tour the eighteenth century Fasig and Keath Log Houses too!
