We The People First Friday: Local Artisan Makers Market

Find your holiday gifts from a selection of scarfs, pottery, ornaments, jewelry, stained glass, wood crafts and more.Artisans include students from the Millersville University Jewelry & Metal Arts Guild, Slip and Score Pottery, and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers organizations. Local artists include Lunga Bechtel, Keisha Finnie, Louis Logan, Charlene Randolph, and others from the Lancaster County Art Association, and Lancaster Designer Craftsmen.

Additionally, Millersville University’s student chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers will be collecting new and/or gently used, winter apparel and coats for families in need at the Ware Center from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. An alternative collection point is offered on Millersville’s main campus in the lobby of Osburn Hall.

The coat drive will be led by the NSBE student chapter in partnership with Millersville University Applied Engineering students, Lancaster Food Hub, Lancaster Habitat of Humanity and United Way of Lancaster County.

All coats received will be donated to Lancaster Food Hub for distribution to individuals and families in the Lancaster area.
